Six Months No Accidents - What Caused the Bed Wetting Accident This Week?

Since I refuse the right of passage, I need to discuss the issue, as a matter of fact, this is a protest I need some sleep.

Onto a serious note, what I can tell is that regardless of how early I stop his fluid intake, some nights he sleeps like a bear but he does not wet all nights, so that being said, I'm going to share what I learned hoping that if we keep discussing this well hidden secret of bed wetting we can find ways to help each other reduce the nights of limited sleep.

Some of the causes that I found in my child was that he tends to be a sound sleeper sometimes he cannot wake himself up.

If he does not drink enough fluids during the day, it becomes a problem at night.

Apparently if a parent wet the bed, it is more likely the child could wet the bed, blaming that on his father.

Constipation, I read could be a culprit that more than likely goes hand in hand with the silent but deadly gas that he passes while asleep.

Small bladders since I do not have x-ray vision, it could be a problem and, I may never know it.
Delayed bladder maturation is the last thing that I read.

As a parent, if you suspect that there is more going on than meets the eye, consult your family physician, in the meantime talk about it, do not let your child think that their alone. Seek out products that are effective and cost effective to help with bedding issues; do not let the issue control the family.
